Steele Summit
Operational support for small and growing companies, without the overhead of a full-time hire.

I'm Ben Steele. I've spent over a decade building and running operations across growing companies, staffing firms, and ecommerce environments -- managing teams, vendors, contractors, and the systems that keep everything moving when leadership doesn't have time to.Most recently I've been running operations for a 300+ contractor staffing division and managing delivery for a major ecommerce retailer's digital team. Before that I ran multi-site programs, built vendor relationships from scratch, and turned operational chaos into something that actually worked.I work with founders and small teams who need someone to own the operational work -- not consult on it from a distance, but actually do it. Whether that's building out your processes, managing a project from start to finish, or just being the reliable person who handles what falls through the cracks, that's what Steele Summit is for.Based in Bishop, California, at the foot of the Eastern Sierra. I know that summits aren't reached by passion alone. They take preparation, the right systems, and someone willing to put in the work on the unglamorous middle miles.
Who is this for?
You need operational support but aren't ready to hire a full-time ops person
You have a project, process, or system that needs an owner, not just advice
You want someone who can start quickly and work without a lot of hand-holding

Operations Strategy
What to do
Whether you're trying to scale, streamline, or simply figure out where to focus first, sometimes you need someone to assess the full picture, ask the right questions, and help you build and execute a plan that actually moves your business forward.
Operational Projects
How to do it
You have the vision and the plan, but when you're leading an organization, you don't have the time and focus to own the execution. I step in as the person responsible for making it happen. I own the execution so you don't have to.

Fractional Support
Just do it
Some companies don't need a full-time ops hire. They need someone reliable who shows up, owns the work, and keeps things moving.Vendor management, contracts, HR and onboarding, financial oversight, process documentation, reporting and tracking, team coordination, or whatever else is needed to make your business run efficiently. No recruiting process. No ramp-up budget. No long-term commitment required.
Every organization is different. Reach out to start a conversation about what you need and what makes sense.
